is it worth it?

I sometimes wonder whether school and life and everything that comes with those things... wonder whether it's worth all the struggle.

It's just like everything rockets along at such a fast pace and I'm left behind. I don't want to grow up, and everything's happening too fast for me.

And I feel stupid for saying it, because I just want to stay being a kid. I don't want all the responsibility and extra challenges that go hand in hand with adulthood. Everyone's always telling me how mature and grown up I am for a 16 year old. For some reason it makes me really sad to hear because I feel like I never really was a child. I kind of skipped the transition in some way. And those years are gone. Forever. I just want them back and it can't happen.
